Ecosave boilers are classified as Sealed System heating boilers and as such are subject the rules governing flue systems according to EC Directive 90/396/EEC on gas-fired devices.
This guidance is for information only and we would invite you to follow the full instructions within our Installation Manual supplied with the boiler.
The boiler and flue should only be installed by a competent Engineer who is registered with Gas Safe (UK and Isle of Man) or Corgi registered (Northern Ireland).
The installation of the boiler and flue must be in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and the Building Regulations and BS 5440 Part 1.
